Warwickshire Christmas Trees is a family-run Christmas Tree Farm set in beautiful countryside in Shenington, just a 5-minute drive from Upton House National Trust.

The trees range from toddler size to 7ft and as a family, you can choose and cut your own Christmas tree from the field or purchase one growing in a pot that can be your own family tree year after year.

At weekends, neighbouring Eastwood Farm sells pork rolls, bacon baps and refreshments and you can’t leave the farm without feeding the resident pigs with their favourite apple treats!

Frequently asked questions

• Where are the Christmas Tree Farm photoshoots held?

The Christmas Tree Farm photoshoots take place at Warwickshire Christmas Trees, OX15 6NP which is just a 5-minute drive away from Upton House National Trust.

• What dates are the Christmas photoshoots being held?

Subject to easing of the current Covid lockdown measures, the photoshoots will take place between 10am - 3.30pm on:

Saturday 5 December
Friday 11 December (perfect for pre-schoolers)
Saturday 12th December

• What if it rains?

For winter outdoor photoshoots contingency plans are a must. I won’t make a call on the weather until the night before as the weather can change very quickly. It is December so some cold weather and a bit of wind is to be expected, but I wouldn’t ask you to come out in the pouring rain. The ideal would be not to have to postpone, but if we do, I have the 6th and 13th December on hold at the farm as back up dates.

• What should we wear to our photoshoot?

Upon booking I will send you a style guide to help for inspiration on what to wear. The sessions will be very simple in their set up so they can be as classic as you like. Whether you'd like to wear matching family Christmas jumpers or party dresses, or if you would prefer a winter family shoot, red/maroon, mustard yellow and neutrals are a good option. It's completely your choice. The main thing is that you are all comfortable and warm.

Warm layers with scarves and hats look much better than heavy coats. Waterproof shoes or boots are recommended for the tree farm to keep your feet warm and dry.

• Is your photoshoot Covid secure?

Yes. I have a safety policy and health declaration that we must adhere to and follow. Warwickshire Christmas Trees has also registered for the track and trace QR code and you will asked to scan this at the beginning of your session.

As the shoot is outdoors the risk is lower and I will maintain a 2-metre social distance throughout your session. I normally shoot with a long lens, so this won't affect your photos.

Each session is 10 minutes apart allowing for families to leave the shoot area before the next family arrives and allowing for cleaning and sanitising of any props. I will also have hand sanitiser and ask that everyone use it before their shoot starts.
